Three rules that save the most food

  1. Keep the fridge at 4 °C / 40 °F or below and the freezer at −18 °C / 0 °F.
  2. Chill cooked food within two hours, in shallow containers, and label the date.
  3. Freeze on the day you realise you will not eat it, not on the last day.
