Herb-Cloud Feta Pull-Apart Buns

Ingredients
- bread flour240 g
- instant yeast1 tsp
- warm milk150 ml
- honey1 tbsp
- olive oil1 tbsp
- fine salt3/4 tsp
- crumbled feta90 g
- chopped dill2 tbsp
- chopped parsley2 tbsp
- melted butter30 g
- sesame seeds1 tbsp
Method
- 1Heat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a small baking dish or round cake pan with parchment.
- 2Stir warm milk, honey, and yeast together; let stand 5 minutes until foamy.
- 3Add bread flour, salt, and olive oil, then mix into a soft dough and knead briefly until smooth.
- 4Divide the dough into 8 pieces, flatten each piece, and tuck feta plus a pinch of herbs into the center before sealing.
- 5Arrange the stuffed dough pieces snugly in the pan, brush with a little melted butter, and let rest 15 minutes.
- 6Bake 18 to 22 minutes until puffed and golden.
- 7Brush with remaining butter, sprinkle with sesame seeds and the rest of the herbs, and serve warm.
Tips
- Seal the buns well so the feta stays hidden and melts into pockets instead of leaking out.
- For extra aroma, rub the herbs into the butter before brushing.
