Method
- 1Heat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8-inch square pan with parchment.
- 2Whisk flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar in a large bowl.
- 3In another bowl, whisk eggs, olive oil, and yogurt until glossy.
- 4Fold the wet mixture into the dry ingredients just until combined, then stir in the diced pears and cardamom.
- 5Spread the batter into the pan and tap lightly to level.
- 6Bake for 22 to 28 minutes until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
