  • basil pesto1/4 cup

Method

  1. 1Heat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment.
  2. 2On a lightly floured surface, roll the puff pastry into a neat rectangle.
  3. 3Mix the ricotta with pesto and black pepper, then spread it evenly over the pastry, leaving a small border.

  6. 6Place the spirals cut-side up on the baking sheet, brush with beaten egg, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
